How reliable is the wifi?
I dont have a smart phone, but I do have an iPod touch that I will download the schedule app to. My question: how reliable is the wifi in the convention center? Is it good enough to rely on for updates, or is it so bad that the ipod wont do much to help me?

Re: How reliable is the wifi?
I've never used the wifi there, but I'd have to imagine it's fairly decent for the crowd that the place bring on alone a day to day basis. Plus it's big city so they have a lot to compete with. I never recall anyone complaining about the wifi while I was there last year. But I could be wrong. But I'd have to imagine it's reliable enough to get through the day at it's very least.

WiFi isn't exactly all that bad in the Hynes. I wouldn't go watching vids on YouTube or anything but for checking email, updating the guildbook app it shouldn't be a problem.

Last year during peak times Saturday it got a little slow, but it worked.

I've pulled up videos on Youtube for panels using the Hynes' wifi and haven't had any problems with the connection.
