Anime Boston

I know i just posted in the one from last year, but we need a time and a place for this year so no one gets left out.


I say we meet for a late lunch (early supper) so we don't miss anything, and if we meet a friend (or two) we can go to the panels together. I vow this would be for Friday (around 1:30) or so....I can't remember every spot in the cafe (and i guess the court yard is off limits....so we should have a place that everyone knows. (i'm not sure what's open and what's not) since I don't live in boston, but why not we give this a shot.

i don't have a facebook but i have a gaia and a twitter i'm on more then this forum ^^;

does anyone think they can make a facebook page to this and have Spirit (aka me) as the host? the owner of the page can be the co-host and we can exchange contact info (ie phone numbers and e-mail) before the convention.

I plan to actually put together a meetup this year. Last couple of times fell through, sadly. If you are interested, please join the group, but I will be scanning profiles before adding people to make sure that people are actually anime fans and attend cons to keep out the rift raft. ^^;

well i have a lunch in for HunterXhunter/yu yu hakusho group on Saturday at noon

if you'd like, we can meet on Thursday night when everyone gets there (if people are getting there on thursday) i'm planing on going to the japanese resturant across from the microsoft store in the mall after i get my badge

Hi. This will be my 7th year at Anime Boston and I cannot wait. I was skeptical about going to the formal ball for i would be alone. Weird question but would anyone want to be my date for the ball? Look me up on Facebook and message me. Thanks and I hope to see all of you there!

With the con only 2 weeks away i sadly have to ask if someone else wants to take this over. I will have my daughter with me for the con and I don't have someone to watch her and I wouldnt feel right bringing her with me.

i heard there was a loners panel, but what time and day is this going to be at? if it's not at noon on Saturday i'd love to help! just pm me with the detales when you get this!

I thought that I would check out the bar at the Sheraton after the Ball on Friday.
I had no clue there may be a singles meet up.

I hope you all don't end up meeting at a bar or something, it's a few more months till I'm 21

i'm not good with the area of boston so i may not be the best person. I don't mind meeting at a bar (i feel old i'm 26 years old) but please don't meet with out me, i have a swap meet on Friday evening that goes till 9:00pm so anytime after that (and before 7:00) i'm free

in fact i'm even free for lunch on Friday if we would like to do a lunch in at Wagamama's it's in the mall so we won't have to go out side if it's rianing. how does that sound for everyone? We can meet up for lunch or dinner before 7:00 but i think lunch may work better for everyone else. what do you guys think?

I'd be up for lunch. I don't quite remember the food places in the food court, but we could just pick a spot and go from there.

Assuming it doesn't conflict with something I'm definitely attending, I'm game! It'd definitely be fun meeting more anime fans!

well i'm already going to be meeting other people in the food court on Saturday at noon, but Friday around noon i'm free as well. (unless i state otherwise) friday may be a pretty busy day eventhough it's not right now ._.'

i also don't remember the stuff there either, but there's alot of resturants we can choose from just inside the mall alone.

I'm taking my niece(her first time) on Friday. But, I'll most likely be running solo Saturday. There are only two things I have planned for that day. I'd like to meet others and enjoy the day. I've never really went with a group to AB. (Past few years were solo runs)

friday sounds like it'll be the easiest day for me, expect for the greg pannels i should be free most of the day

as far as now, it'll be on Saturday after 1:30 at wagamama (if i'm a bit late thats cause Hisoka and I are running a bit late cause of our photo shoot)

I'd be alone like always, but I'm not even sure of my schedule yet though.

as it stands 1:30 will be the time for most of us. I'll talk to Hisoka on the way there and see what he thinks, but as far as date it's going to be Saturday since that's what works best for me. ^^;

Sorry. I'm a bit confused is the plan to meet at wagamama for 1:30 on Saturday or Friday or both? I won't make Friday because of my panel schedule.

Also, I'm down for hitting the bar with the older singles if that's cool with everybody. After the concert On Friday still the plan for that?

So is that time, date, and location set in stone for what we are doing? and if not will the update be on the FB page for this? Cuz I don't know if I'll remember to check the forums once I leave for the con in the morning.
