I'm more than likely not staying at a hotel. We drove back and forth last year, and the years before we took the train. Not too bad. We still have fun at the con ^^

No reason to feel bad if your not renting a room though a word of advice trying to sleep in your car at night around the area of the con not the best idea in the world lol

last time i went to a con i had to sleep in my car cause i was broke

it wasn't as comfortable as i though it would be...

it is easy to stay nearby, but i did commute a few times it wasnt as bad

I'll most likely be driving to and from. I live a little over a half hour away, so getting a hotel room seems kind of pointless, haha.

if you're looking for a hotel/possible group, I’ve got 2 connected rooms (one hang out/noisy and one sleeping/quiet) in the Colonnade. Per person it would be $275 to $325, depending on how many people sign up, for Thursday to Sunday (3 nights – thurs, fri, sat). I'm willing to go 16+ as long as your parents are willing to say so in writing.

and anyone know what hotels are good to stay at? I'm probally going to rent a room (or find someone to share with but) thought i would ask for hotel advice from people who have been to this thing before

Stayed at the Sheraton, Marriott Copley, and the Colonnade all in the past couple years, all are good and very close! Just be prepared to shell out some cash.
