Question - distance to Fisher (though it doesn't pertain to this year)

If you're new to the city or taking the T in from out of town, this is where you can get advice from people living in The Hub. Please keep discussion limited to things in and around Boston.

Question - distance to Fisher (though it doesn't pertain to this year)

Does anyone know how close Fisher College is to the Convention Center?
I'm going to be attending that college starting next Fall.. and it would be utterly convenient if it was relatively close.

I would say that the Hynes Convention Center is a fair, but manageable distance from Fisher College. Giving an estimation, I would say that it is about a good half an hour to forty-five minutes if walked.

Sweet, that isn't bad, considering I have a friend that got accepted and is going there as well.

Thanks, will keep that in mind for future reference.

According to Google maps it's an 18 minute walk from the Hynes to the college.

Hm, that duration does make sense. For me, I was walking in the cold, windy night during Anime Boston 2008. And we were looking for a restaurant, hence why it took so long.

But eighteen minutes is much better, compared to what I said.
