Boston thinking about charging people that drive in the city.

Boston looking into charging a toll for drivers in certain parts of the city. I'm sure backbay would be one such area.

I feel like tolls would just bog things down even more? Not to mention the city seems to be ignoring the issues the MBTA is having with their trains catching on fire....

It wouldn't nessisarily cause any traffic problems. Camera & sensor tolling has been a thing for decades now.

Mmmmm, fair. Still think that money should go to public transit though, instead of cameras/sensors.

I also feel a bit uncomfortable about charging such an additional fee. Before, we could travel freely, but now we will have to pay quite a bit more for those who move a lot.
