Hey guys friendly reminder from my lawyer friend to the people who are planning being fabreeze ninjas and spraying people with air freshener.

SPRAYING PEOPLE WITH UNKNOWN CHEMICALS IS CONSIDERED ASSAULT.

And you can get arrested for it.

Sheesh. And to think I found out a few hours ago a couple friends of mine who are BPD will be helping with security this year. I'll let 'em know ^_^

I wonder if a couple of my friends will be Security this year, both Hynes and Anime Boston. I'll see when I get there.

If they did it as a joke and actually just sprayed water it would be almost acceptable... except for the little problem that the victim wouldn't know in advance that they weren't getting sprayed with noxious chemicals. Noxious chemicals are right out; I know people who are seriously allergic to that stuff.

Even if the victim knows it's water, the person can still be charged for assault in MA.
People can be allergic to some crazy things and even the plastic from the squirt bottle or the added fluoride in tap water could set someone off.
Needless to say, don't be that person and ruin another persons weekend.
