POUTINE in the Prudential Center?

If you're new to the city or taking the T in from out of town, this is where you can get advice from people living in The Hub. Please keep discussion limited to things in and around Boston.

POUTINE in the Prudential Center?

Post by Angel ♥︎ »

So lately I've been having a craving for poutine, the Quebec dish with french fries and cheese and gravy - anyone know any place in the Pru or within walking distance that sells any?

The only place I know of in Boston that sells poutine (which is amazing and delicious) is Saus near Faneuil Hall. Which, as I have been talking it up for a few years, my assistant took the subway to government center to get for me! (I was selling in the Artist Alley)

they also have really good Belgium waffles and sandwiches

Well Government Center is no longer an option as the station is closed for the next 2 years.

I actually went to Saus on Sunday, right after the convention ended. You can get to it by using the orange line (Massachussets Avenue or Back Bay are the 2 closest stations from the Con) and getting off at the State Station. Then it's only 5 minutes walk on Congress st., North St. and final ly Union Street.

Their poutine is Fabulous!!

I didn't say there was not other options, I was just saying Government Center Station was closed for 2 years. Also, there may be something new for next year's con but we will have to wait and see.
