Gluten free options
A member of our group has a gluten alergy and we like to know what resturants have 100% gluten free options.

Re: Gluten free options
I have to eat gluten-free as well. First time in all my years going to Boston where I have to worry about what to eat. *sigh* If he/she's concerned about cross contamination, I'm not sure where to eat honestly (I'm so helpful). But if not, there are actually a few places in the Prudential Center that have gluten-free options (Uno's, Wagamama, & PF Chang's). I didn't have any luck finding anything 100% gf (i.e. dedicated fryer, etc) that is near the convention center. So if anyone else has any other suggestions, or actual knowledge of the restaurants, I second this request.
Edit: I actually asked this question last year, so here were some replies.

your link redirects to the 2015 Schedule announcement. Also note that there is a 24 hour Star Market Supermarket in the Prudential across from the Marriott.revsoulx3 wrote:I have to eat gluten-free as well. Meals from supermarkets usually require a kitchen... ;(

Not necessarily. There are some items that just require a microwave.revsoulx3 wrote:Whoops. Fixed.aznman08 wrote: your link redirects to the 2015 Schedule announcement. Also note that there is a 24 hour Star Market Supermarket in the Prudential across from the Marriott.

I could be wrong, but I don't recall the hotel rooms having microwaves either. Also a kitchen appliance.Elli21486 wrote:Not necessarily. There are some items that just require a microwave.
Unless there is somewhere that offers microwave use?

Re: Gluten free options
I do believe there are some places that have microwaves and several hotels have an accessible microwave somewhere. In fact, there may be one in supermarket itself since it is a 24 hour store. Also would mention that there may be pre-made gluten free sandwiches that does not need microwaving as well as soups that only needs hot water.revsoulx3 wrote:I could be wrong, but I don't recall the hotel rooms having microwaves either. Re: Gluten free options
If someone points me in the direction of a pre-made GF sandwich, I am all about that. I have yet to see those at any supermarkets. Or anywhere, really. That would be pretty awesome.Elli21486 wrote: I do believe there are some places that have microwaves and several hotels have an accessible microwave somewhere. I will have to ask the hotel if they have a microwave hidden around somewhere (unless anyone knows offhand if the Sheraton does).
I don't know if there are many GF powder/ramen/etc soups where you just add water.

Re: Gluten free options
Just wanted to provide a quick update. I went into Star Market and they have a kitchen/cafe in there. They also have prepared sandwiches and wraps. Not sure if anything was gluten free though.
