AB is looking for a few good dancers!

Hello Everyone!

The Cherry Blossom Ball is looking for people interested in being Dance Hosts during the Ball.

A Dance Host will be marked with a ribbon or flower as a "friendly dancer" who will always accept if asked to dance. Dance Hosts must already know a little about ballroom dancing. It doesn't need to be alot necessarily, but at the very least they should be confident in the basic in waltz, foxtrot, and tango.

Pre-screening/auditions will be held on at 4:30pm on Friday 4/20 after the dance class in the Liberty at the Sheraton. Please also bring a picture of what you will be wearing later that evening with you (you in the outfit, not the character if cosplaying)

I wouldnt mind giving this a try. I am not going to lie I am a good dancer. When I come to the Dance Class I will see what type of dance they are referring too.

It's best to think along the line of ballroom dancing. Waltz, tango, foxtrot (Haha, as if.) All the nice formal stuff. Actually, they'll probably focus on the waltz the most.

I'm pretty good at ballroom dancing, so yeah, I'll show up. Is there an age limit, though? It it's 18+ I can't do it.

There is NOT an age limit on the Ball ^_^

For the ball, and the class, we are featuring the slow waltz, foxtrot, and the tango.

If you mean being a dance host it's 16+, just like volunteering

we are in particularly desperate need of leaders to dance host! I know there's at least one boy out there who can dance, because I tango'ed with him on sunday last hear >.>

[color:red]Since I'm guessing girls are allowed to volunteer for this, too, I'd be more than willing to. I'm familiar with the dances, and I'm trying to get a little practice in beforehand. I will definitely be going to the ballroom dance lesson, to make sure I'm still doing things right.
