Formal Ball Attire Question

Hello! My friends and I are planning on going to the Formal and we had some questions. First, we're 14-15, so can we still go? (Is there an age limit basically) I want to cosplay a human Fluttershy, and I haven't found a dress yet, but are knee length dresses acceptable? It will not be casual fabric (ex: cotton) but something more formal (ex: silk, satin, tulle).

i'm pretty sure no matter what age you are, you can go. but as long as the dress is knee-length and proper formal attire.

There is no age limit for the dance. A knee-length dress in formal fabric is perfectly acceptable, as long as it is paired with appropriate shoes.
