Formal Ball

Every year I look forward to the formal ball, so I was very excited to hear it was coming back for 2014! I know the information hasn't been posted yet, but I check for it every day. Two years ago I was a host(ess? Did we use the term? I can't remember now) and it was so much fun I'm hoping to be one again this year.

Is everyone else excited? Are you going to be cosplaying, or just in formal wear? Any plans to do the dance class beforehand (you should, it's a lot of fun, and you can meet dance partners ahead of time).

Well, my ticket is purchased. I went with the 5:00, since in past years I've spent the entire evening at the ball.

I would still like to help host this year again. Are there going to be hosts/hostesses this year?

Though I am a little confused, when I went to buy tickets, it said that their records showed that I was already registered for it and I don't remember doing so unless it came with the pre-registration weekend pass I bought.

I think it says that if you pre-registered for the con at all, but the convention pass doesn't include the formal ball ticket. So just ignore the message and keep going, basically. It did the same thing with me.
