This thread is for posting of Haves and Wants for the Anime Boston 2014 Swap Meet. For those new to the con or the Swap Meet, it's basically where you take your anime or Japanese related items you don't want anymore, and trade with other people for the stuff they don't want anymore. You can find all the details on it at the Swap Meet page.

I do ask that people limit their postings to what they have and what they want. Negotiations for trade should either be done in-person at the con, or over Private Messages on the forum or some other means (email, AIM, etc). Basically, DON'T MAKE TRADE OFFERS IN THIS THREAD! When people start to do it, it fills the entire thread with back and forth posts between two people that no one else needs to see. If it does happen here I will delete those posts, or just lock the thread.

ive wanted to do the swap meet for all years ive been but i never got the chance to!! can we just go? or do we need to reserve a spot or something? we're allowed to keep our cosplays on, right?

well, here's some of what i have and plan on bringing:

Clothes: (all clothes are size M. I fit perfectly into Medium but if you're smaller than that they will fit you, too. )
*Kagamine Len Cosplay (everything except shoes, wig, and headphone thingy)
*lolita jsk (bodyline) (classic)
*lolita dress (bodyline) (gothic/sailor)
*Clip-On white kitty ears

Wigs: (All will be washed and brushed before hand! ^^)
*Really short white wig, already styled
*Short pink and blonde mixed wig (might need trimmed bangs)

The separate thread is set up for those who would like to prearrange a swap but can't be there for either swap meet block due to scheduling conflict. In my case, I'm going to be running a panel during a portion of the Saturday Swap Meet so...yeah.

*** I'm aware that the rest of this list isn't strictly anime/manga related, but they're still in the fantasy genre, so I figured I'd offer them in the hopes that they might strike someone's interest all the same. :3

My Trading Policy: In years previous, I usually show up with a small box's worth and let people take whatever they want. Last year I wound up giving most of what I had away to people in line! This year I'd like to make a request.

When I divorced my husband, we were both living in Italy. At the time, our split was amicable and I returned to the US ahead of having my things shipped because I was falling apart mentally and emotionally. I did so with the promise that my soon to be ex-husband would send along my belongings as soon as he could. Fast forward a year later and his new wife has apparently convinced him I'm the devil and that I don't deserve to have said stuff back. This includes my book collection. So there goes all of the manga that I had previously collected over the years.

So while I'd happily trade for any of the books in those pictures*, I also mentioned at the top that I'm VERY limited on space right now. What I've been trying to do instead is keep as many new graphic novels as possible to ebook purchases for my nook. But I'm also broke as hell right now. -.- Therefore, while I will continue to simply give away anything I bring for the swap meet, if you'd like a lot of things or simply out of the kindness of your heart want to offer something to trade, I would love, love, LOVE a Barnes & Noble gift card. It could be as much or as little as you'd like. (Even a dollar would help!) Again, this is not REQUIRED if you'd like something of mine listed here. But you would make my freakin' day. :3 (And yes, there is a Barnes & Noble store at the Prudential Center where the con is held.)

Since I'm not doing any panels on Saturday night this year, I will be at the Swap Meet Saturday from the beginning to the end. Also as a reminder I do take cash for anything I'm swapping on my list. I will have a printout with me but I will edit my post shortly with asking prices in just a few minutes.

Regarding the Pokemon games I'm looking for: Amazon has them listed for double and higher the original price(In some cases as nuch as $120 for just one game) in most cases New AND Used. I'm willing to pay cash for the 3rd and 4th Gen Pokemon Games but only if they're reasonably priced at the Swap Meet. If you have Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, HeartGold and/or SoulSilver and you're willing to sell/swap them please PM me.

I have to bonuses from the Inuyasha DVD box sets one is a set of rubber stamps Kagome, Inuyasha, Sesshomaru, and the Japanese logo for the show never used but the stickers on 2 of them came a little lose sitting in the box over time, can easily be re-glued.

The second is a replica of three pieces of the Shikon jewel in a glass jar that Kagome wears around her neck. It's sealed with real cork and it has a nice faux leather strap to wear it as a necklace.

Also the Schedule is up.

The Swap Meet will be in The Sheraton Hotel on the second floor in the Republic Room, which is across from Registration. Coming in from the Prudential Center, turn left and you're looking at it.

The Swap Meet will be from 7:00PM to 9:15PM on Friday and 6:00PM to 8:15PM on Saturday. Adjust your schedule accordingly if you wanna attend.
