This thread is for posting of Haves and Wants for the Anime Boston 2012 Swap Meet. For those new to the con or the Swap Meet, it's basically where you take your anime or Japanese related items you don't want anymore, and trade with other people for the stuff they don't want anymore. You can find all the details on it at the Swap Meet page - once it's put up for 2012, that is.
I do ask that people limit their postings to what they have and what they want. Negotiations for trade should either be done in-person at the con, or over Private Messages on the forum or some other means (email, AIM, etc). Basically, DON'T MAKE TRADE OFFERS IN THIS THREAD! Every year people start to do it and it fills the entire thread with back and forth posts between two people that no one else needs to see. If it does happen here I will delete those posts, or just lock the thread.

That should help those who may be wondering if X Person will be back, what they wanted/offered, etc. Here's an overview of the general rules for anyone new to the concept:
- AB Staff is only present for crowd control and/or helping swappers showcase potential hot items. All participants are responsible for the swap itself including estimated value of items, etc.
- Anyone swapping adult-oriented (18+) DVDs, posters and Manga may only show them to someone who can legally view them. Any interested person(s) MUST present a valid ID or Military ID. This rule is strictly enforced.
- Bear in mind space is on a first come, first served basis. Having said that, be courteous and DO NOT take up the entire tabletop if you don't need it.
- AB and the Hynes are not responsible for any items lost or stolen during the Swap Meet. In other words: It's probably not a good idea to bring anything you don't want to lose.
- Going with the above: Don't swap something unless you're really willing to part with it. AB does not get involved with disputes of this kind.
- Although it's a Swap Meet, be realistic. It's highely unlikely anyone would be willing to swap for your cup of Ramen. Yes, someone actually tried to swap one at AB2011. Naturally, they weren't taken seriously.
- This should be obvious: Pirated and counterfeit material is NOT allowed. AB does not encourage that kind of activity and allowing it could be damaging for AB's reputation.
Here's my list of stuff I'm offering. If you see a dollar amount in parentheses then I'm willing to take cash for said item.
-PSP 1000 + Adapter + Battery ($50): Used. Battery cover is cracked and the serial is worn off. System itself works.
-Blue Nintendo DSi + Adapter + 2GB SD Memory Card ($75): Refurbished. Had it shipped to Nintendo last fall to have the L+R buttons fixed. Bought new. I used it almost every day until I got my 3DS. System and Cameras still work, plays DS Games fine. As an added bonus, DSi Ware I couldn't transfer to my 3DS is also included on the SD Memory Card.
-1 Wired USB Logitech Gamepad: Basically, it's a PS3 controller for your PC. Should automatically install when you plug it into your computer. Has a little wear but its gameplay is uneffected.
- Bleach Vol. 1 (Manga): I got it via swap at AB2011. Even though I read it once it still looks the way it did when I received it.
- Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 (Gamecube Game): I got it via swap at AB2011. A good game for any Naruto fan.
- Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children: I have the 2-Disc Widescreen DVD Set. A must-have if you're a fan of the FFVII Mythology.
- Pokemon Diamond, Pearl, Platinum and Soul Silver (DS Games): I retired from Pokemon last January. I'm ready to part with all of my remaining Pokemon Games. Pokedex completed in ALL FOUR games, chock fulll of legendaries and Lv. 100s.
- The Last Remnant (Xbox 360 Game): Bought it in the fall from Gamestop. It's a stratedgy RPG game. Comes in Original case with Manual. Made by Square-Enix.
- Eternal Sonata (Xbox 360): Bought in the fall from Gamestop. It's an RPG game. Comes in original case with Manual. Made by Namco Bandai.
Obviously, the two handhelds are the hot ticket items I'm swapping. You're on your own getting games and a Memory Stick for the PSP but there is a Gamestop and Best Buy nearby in regards to that. Last year I swapped an NES, SNES, N64 and my Black DS Lite so...yeah. In regards to the DSi and PSP I will ONLY swap them for cash or items of equal or grester value. I will have my laptop with me to demonstrate the DVD I'm swapping does indeed work.
And here is what I am looking for:
- Oh! My Goddess! Manga: Preferably volumes 11 through 19 and volumes 35 and higher. English only please.
- Spice and Wolf Manga: Preferably volumes 1-12. English Only please.
- Clannad Visual Novel: Been looking for this for a LONG time. Willing to pay cash.
- Tales of the World Radiant Mythology 3 (PSP, Japan-Only Release): Assuming I can't find it on the Dealers' Floor of course. For those who don't know, only the first Radiant Mythology was released in the US.
- Intro to Learning Japanese (Books, Audio CDs and/or PC Software): Should be self-explanatory xD
- Kenichi the Mightiest Disciple: I've been looking to get a couple volumes now that I've finally finished watching the English dub.
- Death Note Cosplay Notebook: Whoever gets this for me gets their pick of something from the above list ^_^

I'm wondering if there will be a larger room for the Swap Meet at AB2012. The one we had this year and last year cramped both for those who brought stuff and those who were there to trade/buy at the swap. At least four people brought stuff this year that took up an whole table so...yeah.

As a Heads Up:
The Swap Meet will run from 8:30PM to 10:30PM. AWESOME news for me as I'll be able to attend it after all. The Panel I run is from 9:15PM to 10:15PM. Based on that, I will be present for the first 30 minutes of the Swap Meet and the last 15 minutes of the Swap Meet. I will mention this in the vidoe Podcast I'm going to record later this evening as well as on my website.
I'm just THRILLED the schedule is up a week in advance!

There's only one thing that I really really REALLY wanna get rid of.
It's a hello kitty plush toy that I got from PortConMaine and there's absolutely nothing wrong with her. I just have a terrible con memory with her and I'd rather get rid of her than stare at her. She's in brand new condition and her tag's still attached and perfect.

I tried to get every angle of her and took pictures of both sides of the tag. I'll trade her for just about anything of interest. I paid around 15$ for her but I just can't look at her any longer. How does the swap meet usually work? Is it just a crazy free for all? Or is there some sort of system so people can see what other people have? How many people show up to this sort of event?
