No way, man xD I'm not bringing my precious Necrons. I'm afraid I'll break them, lose them, have them get stolen (not likely).... actually I'm more afraid I'll aciddentally forget them. I wouldn't bring yours, if I were you.

Sadly no. Thier scouts are part of their crusader units as initiative, your options are bp&ccw or shotgun sir. I also advise waiting a few months, the 'aardboys usually run something at Con.

There will be a Warhammer 40K event, though we are still trying to figure out what form it will take. I'll keep you posted!

I'll be bringing 2k points of necrons. but 2k is kinda pushing it for me, I could probably do a solid 1850 though.

Unfortunately, there will be no organized warhammer event this year. The folks who ran it last time weren't able to make it this year. Sorry!
If people would like to play pick up games against each other, I'll happily clear a table or two (assuming there's nothing else scheduled).

Yup, the b/f will be bringing his army along with him. *grin* I painted the wolf pack in his army to look like the wolves from Wolfs Rain so you can't miss him.

While it is great that the AB comminity is bringing together gamers. I will caution you this, there are A LOT of people that pass through. Many of them dont have "gamer ediquitte" So if it looks shiny, they are very likely to pick it up/examine. I would not be bringing your best/favorite stuff. Best of luck to all involved! I'll try and stop in to see if there are games happening. I can always run home to get an army!

I could probably put together a small group of expendable Eldar if anyone is interested. Nothing big though, and I am not that great.

I'll be there sometime mid-day Friday. I should be pretty obvious, just look for my flag.

I address this to the Head of Live Gaming: I noticed you mentioned you would try to clear some space for 40K players if there was nothing scheduled. Any 40K player can make a decent size table work. It seems a few people will be bringing armies, myself included. Will the gaming room be in the same place? Can I set up my army and wait, or would it be preferable to keep it packed until someone comes? Do you play 40K?

Live Gaming is not going to be in the same place. It is going to be in Constitution, which is down the hall from where it was last year.
There will be tables available for Warhammer use, and we'll likely be bringing terrain. We'll have sign-up sheets so people can coordinate with other players and reserve table space.
I don't play myself; I can't paint worth a damn!

Very cool. Very Cool. I can also bring terrain, nothing fancy just some buildings mostly. I haven't perfected landscapes yet. I don't paint well either, try Space Marines. They are fairly easy to paint! RECRUITMENT!!!!

Well you are indeed welcome! Truth be told, this will be my first time playing in a large group setting, so my rules knowledge is rusty. Don't use your entire food break for 40k.....food is good!

Well.....AB 2010 is now 5 days away (for me, I'm going on Thursday!). Everyone ready? Both of my armies are packed and ready to go! Anyone want to give spoiler as to who their playing? I saw someone say Black Templars......I can start this off: I'm bringing Space Wolves and Sons of the Firemind (Space Marine Chapter of my own design.) I couldn't get my Salamanders finished on time....

I'm going to attempt to bring my Eldar. I didn't do as good a job painting them, but I will be less heartbroken if they break. I don't rememeber how many points I have, and I may need a few rounds to get re-familiar with the game, but I used to be quite formidable lol
