All Friday Live Gaming Events Cancelled

Ok, here's the situation:

The hotel accidentally double-booked the Constitution room (the Live Gaming Area) with a non-AnimeBoston function on Friday afternoon and evening. There was a typo in the contract the convention signed with the Sheraton, and frankly both the convention and the hotel are to blame.

After looking at the other available rooms in the Sheraton, I decided that that best option was to simply cancel the Friday events and run the Saturday and Sunday events in the Constitution as normally scheduled.

Yes, this sucks, but there is no help for it. The only good thing I can say is that just about every event that we were going to run on Friday will be duplicated on Saturday and Sunday, so the sheer variety of the events will not be impacted.

So to sum up: for all intents and purposes, Live Gaming will not exist on Friday, April 22nd, but will spring into existence at 10am Saturday morning in Constitution (where it was last year).

Personally I'm hoping its not something like a wedding or wedding reception.
As much as I like Anime conventions and nerdlings, I would be pretty pissed if AB was happening everywhere around my ~big day~.

A couple of years ago, I saw people in tuxedos and promlike dresses in the area. If it is a Friday, I am going to guess something on those lines, another formal dance event.

If it is the year that I'm thinking, that was a couple of area high school proms. I did talk with a few of them. The garden area was very popular that night.
