I know this is said a lot, and I apologize for the repetition, but I recently emailed vic mignogna and he said that he would love to come to anime boston (he wrote "love" in all caps, even), but he just has to be invited. he told me if i wanted to help him come i should request on this site that he be invited.
i'm sure that it would make a lot of fans including myself very happy, all that has to be done is have him be invited.

PLEASE invite a youtube star called LITTLEKURIBOH He does a legendary series called Yu-Gi-Oh! The Abridged Series. He's a legend in the world of anime parodies. He has been invited to a couple of conventions as a guest now, like Otakon, and people love him. Vic Mignogna met him too! There are videos of them on the web as well. =]

I would love for Anime Boston to have a big j-pop guest this year. Cons like AX and Otakon have huge mainstream artists, but in the time I've been going to AB, the closest we had was Kalafina. Who was cool, but I feel like it's not quite on the same level, you know? XD;;
Personally I would love to see AKB48, or more specifically, the subgroup Watarirouka Hashiritai. Watarirouka has done themes for Blue Dragon and Fairy Tail, and in general, compared to AKB48 itself, they're a more anime-style group I think. Two of the five girls, Watanabe Mayu and Oota Aika, are huge anime fans, so I'm sure they'd love to come to an anime convention!
I don't think any of the Watarirouka girls came to the US in the past when AKB came, though I'm not 100% sure since I couldn't make it to either (both LA and NYC are too far from Boston D:).
For Japanese seiyuu, if Takahashi Hiroki came here I would probably die of happiness *________* Or Kaida Yuki.

I don't want to turn Anime Boston into Yaoi Con, but I would like to see one or two mangaka from that particular genre. After all, I won't be going off to San Francisco for Yaoi Con anytime soon (and neither will most AB members).

Definitely Akitaro Daichi, creator and director of "Now and Then, Here and There". It's an older series, but with its rerelease and timeless plot, it would be an honor to see him there.

Along with the suggestion of Littlekuriboh from the Yu-Gi-Oh abridged series, he has done a lot of work with other abridged series creators, like Shadyvox from the Yu-Gi-Oh GX abridged series. They have done HILARIOUS videos together like the Yugi VS Jaden video here...
